When sunflowers are younger they follow the sun, a process called Heliotropism. I witnessed this within the sunflower meadow I planted, and tried to reflect this on paper - the sunflowers are seeking the sun.
I love the four levels of focus in this piece, creating a panoramic view to hopefully portray the level of depth within it.
This piece took about 80 hours to complete.
